Riley and I went to the Carrie Underwood concert last night. First big concert for Riley. Little Big Town opened - they were great and LOUD! They're the band that sings, among other things, that catchy Boondocks song. Then Miss Carrie came out and belted out her popular hits: Jesus take the wheel, Before he cheats, American Girl. But I have to say my inner rocker 80's chick came out when she sang "Paradise City" by Guns and Roses. She did a GREAT job on a song that was done pretty well the first time.
Riley was feeling pretty proud of the fact that she was out until 11pm on a school night. Thanks Dave for the tickets! It pays to have a BFF who's "kind of a big deal" (inside joke there, ask me later).
